Here's a gig I did outside the Enhanted Grounds coffee shop in Raton, owned by some friends of ours. They graciously asked me to come play some of my songs, which I did. You can see for yourself how everyone has to be a little critical, even if you're the performer's granddaughter. (The other one is my daughter Jillian, who was helping me with a couple of harmonies.)
And last, but not least, my son Nathan and his new wife, Mindy, exchanged vows under my guidance, on July 30, 2007. He is 27 and she's 28. A beautiful day full of peace and joy.
So life goes on. My daughter Jillian gets married this November, then the eldest daughter, Lauren gets married in June, 2008. I'm euphemistically calling this "the year of 3 weddings and a funeral,"...MY funeral, no doubt)
